You most likely have to resize your Image to 400x400 pixels or 256kb to be able to post.
But I am just guessing that is what the problem is. Huh?

Jutta

No it was not the size, I couldn't post a photo for some reason
What it was/is , is a very old photo that I am trying to restore and I wondered if you could suggest any way to improve on what I'd managed. I'll try later to post it again.

Dayko nice looking Lady, well worth Restoring!

I personally have not done this Exercise, apart from taking it maybe to some of my filters and playing around
had a look in "google for Photshop Tutorial on the Subject, have a look through these,

http://www.google.com.au/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2005-22,GGLG:en&q=Restoring+old+photographs+Tutorials+for+Photoshop

you just might find the right Tutorial for the Job.
You most likely need to install some Filters, but they will tell you so in the Tutorial and tell you where to download it. some Filters are Free and some are not!

See how you get on. with this one http://www.photoshopchamp.com/restore-old-photo.html
PS. just a thought maybe one could use the same Technice as in the Pixel colouring we have just done??

Day have followed that Tutorial exactly, but I do not think it was such an improvement from the old Photo, (the odd colored one is from the Tut, which I turned into bl. and white just to compare)
Still has that shine on her Forehead, I wanted to pixel Color the Lady, too try and improve on the Shine, but..I can picture her, with Auburn Hair like Maureen O'Hara, and green Eyes, but it might be the wrong color?

It is a pity it is so small, did try to enlarge her Photo, (which I had to, to work on her) but it it turned to blurry!
I still like to Pixel Color her, if I knew her colorings, and maybe a little Frame Huh?

Jutta

Thanks.
No she didn't have light coloured hair, kinda brown. The last time I saw her she had grey hair. [Died twelve yars back]
I tried putting a little colour in the face but it spoils the effect of a old photo.
Still there is no rush, like a lot of photos I have a little go then put the aside for awhile.

BTW
It's time a young maid like you should be in bed, it's gone 10o/clock

This is the best I can do Dayko, I pixelpainted, cloned, brushed, experimented with Filters, (and I have lots ) the Patch is still on her Forehead.
I think the Photo Quality is inferior, and to small to do much better, this calls for a Pro I think.
Have noticed while searching for a Tut to correct the Photo, there are Touchup Tools, but for $$$$$
