AVG Free Edition error message
«

I have AVG Anti Virus Free Edition, it updates automatically and has always worked very well.
Today I got a message saying there was a Priority update waiting to be loaded.
When I went into it it said it is
Priority Update
Virus database version 1434
Virus database version 1957
When I clicked the Update button I got the message
Update file is damaged. Please use another Update file.
No matter what I do I cannot update it and would be grateful for some help.

Hello Neon
Nothing clever.
I went on to the website and manually downloaded the latest version and that cleared it.
It is set to update automatically and I suspect now that it probably would have done that on the next automatic update anyway.
