I am happily running Free AVG virus, just today received a warning to upgrade it.
Tried to do it, asking price $US89.99 . Shall I try another free virus scanner or what is the best to do?

Yeah I don't think I would paid that much for AVG and I'm surprised that they would advertise that way. What version number of AVG are you using?

Thank you Pinkcloud, the warning is a ruse to users buy a paid version not telling the free version is still available. Downloaded 8.5.285 with no problems.
