Everything's Pink
«

I thought I posted this message a short while ago, but I guess I hit the wrong key!
When I turned our computer on this morning everything was fine, but when I came back to it this afternoon I found that everything seems to be in a shade of pink with vertical lines running across the entire monitor. The colour of this web site at the moment is a peach colour. The task bar is pink; most of the icons on the desktop are shaded in pink and those that aren't are shaded in green.
We're running XP professional, I think SP2.
Help!!
Cheers

Sounds like your Monitor is failing, how old is it?

Thanks for replying so quickly, Neonwizard. The monitor's an Acer and it's less than 12 months old. As soon as you said it appeared to be "dying", I vaguely recalled one of the monitors at work dying and it went pink.

You might still have warranty on that monitor, there is usually a phone number on the warranty card that you can call and they'll tell you where you can get it fixed or if it's a factory a free replacement, well worth checking out.
If you do have another monitor you could do a test just to make sure it's the monitor and not the video card.
