Last year I installed a trial of MS Office 2007 but found the ribbons too confusing so just let it expire & used Office 2003.  I have just formatted the hard drive so can I retry a trial of Office 2007 or will the registry reject my second attempt?

Hello Abacus

Earlier this year I landed up with two MS Office 2007 trials on my PC (by mistake) and it didn't mind at all when I installed the second one.

This is the link. It was very useful as it includes the download free trial of the Professional version.

It may, some software may "call home" to see if it was install before but hey give it a try anyway, if it doesn't then good, if it does remember just uninstall it.

It's the "interface", the interface was changed in Office 2007 and very different from Office 2003
