Why Not neonwizard???, I bought my iMac 24" from the Apple refurbished store 12 months ago and cannot fault them, the iMac arrived 2 days after being ordered online and the Tech guys are just fantastic to deal with over the phone, I certainly would recommend Apple to buy off.

Cheers

I buy my systems from Apple online but not memory, Apple charges a premium for it's memory which no-one has been able to justify.

Here is an example a while back I brought 8GB of memory for MSY for $236 the same memory at Apple was over $1000 dollars.

Well after running it for a bit a graphic/video problem developed meaning a hardware fault making the computer DOA (Dead on Arrival) so a new replacement one will need to be sent to me, you can just guess how pissed off I am.

I can imagine you would really be pissed off

You could try what this person did .... give it a huge boot (as in steel cap #12 ) it even bent the internal frame .... the cooling fan on the power supply was jammed from a blow to it ...

The hard drive had over 20,000 bad sectors and the panel beating will cost more than the HD and Power Supply I replaced ....

I don't think they can expect a "Dead on arrival" warranty with this one.
