Sorry guys, I spoke to soon.
Still having problems.
Now I cannot receive emails.
Have deleted my accounts (I also have a gmail) and reinstated but I get the message 'log onto incoming mail server (POP3)  -failed.

'Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): The operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I have sent and receive mesages via webmail and Outlook Express but NOT Outlook 2007.

Somehow , somewhere I have stuffed up big time.

HELP!!!

OK, Turned off the firewall, reloaded the email address then turned firewall back on.
Sent test message via gmail and GOT IT.!!

However, can't create gmail account.

Will run full system scan with ESET just in case there is any malaware or other nasty.

Seems like two steps forward and one step back.

When I open Outlook a box comes up
Microsoft LDAP Directory
Server Name:       NULL

The solution?
Go to "Tools" and "Email Accounts", under "Directories" choose
"View or change directories or Address Books",
click on "Next", highlight
the LDAP address book, and click on "Remove."

Back in business - hopefully.

Had emails stuck in the outbox. Noticed that on the account setting the SMTP was set at mail.xxxxx. Changed it to SMTP.xxx
and it sent the emails.
