I also would like to thank all you guys for your invaluable help given to me over the years.   You always seem to come up with the right solution and are so quick with your replies.   Thanks once again and I am so pleased to read that this site will keep going.

My belated thanks also, this and another more social type of Forum are the only two I go to on the Net, and I do appreciate all that the Moderators do for us over the years.

I don't come in so much anymore and that's because all you guys did such a great job teaching  someone who started with a computer later in life. I am so grateful to you all as I'm sure I wouldn't have the understanding I have if it had not been for you guys !
I'm very happy to hear you will keep it going without Ms Mega, who for those who don't know was quite active in the early days.
Its very comforting to know that if I come unstuck with my PC you are here to help out. Thank you Jim, Tassie Neon and Andrew  you all deserve a medal !
And to close I like the names  you chose with Ozzie , Geek, and IT in the name  those words say it all and I'm sure you will come up with something appropriate.

Hi All,

Well, in typical fashion since my last post I was snowed under!

In an effort to keep this ball moving, I've created a new email address which people can submit names to for the Helpdesk Moderators to review and make a decision on.

If you could please forward all your suggestions to newname@silverdimension.com.au then we can look through them and make a decision to move forward!

Hi Andrew

I am used to and do like the words "Megabyte Community".

Are we still allowed to use them?

If so how about Megabyte Community Tech Guys?

I will email as you asked.

I imagine the trademark and copyrights for Ms Megabyte will still be held by Yvonne.

Yes, I would guess so too but I wasn't suggesting we use "Ms Megabyte"

The words megabyte and community are common words.

Pinkcloud,

Submit any suggestions you have and we can then review them as to whether they are viable or not.

Well Ive been here along long time..maybe 8 years...and without all the great managers that have been and those still here I cannot thank them enough. Maybe I dont appear as much on the forum but I still look daily in an effort to learn a bit more.It is pleasing to know we can still prevail under a new flag with our managers. I will still be here even if there need be a subscription. Its been a "Tree of knowledge"  ooshka

Hi All,
I would just like to add my thanks also to Andrew, Jimbob, NeonWizard & Tassie.
Apart from my own requests for assistance I (like many others) have learned from the posts and replies of others.
As to a new name......I'm pretty easy and not that eager to change things. The existing name would be OK by me as a tribute to the originator of the site.
