Hello Folks
Has anyone heard of "Trusteer Rapport"  Apparently it is a program extensively used by UK banks and their
customers to protect online banking?

Yes, I use it and find it very good.

My bank, the Royal Bank of Scotland, downloads it free to customers.

I've attached it to any financial and sensitive websites I use.

I see you don't actually have to be a customer to download it free at this link.

Thanks pinkcloud. Do you know if Australian banks use it?

Trusteer Rapport have their own website and the banks they work with are at this link.

It's just security software, you don't have to be with a bank to use it and you can download it from my previous link if you want to.

One other thing about this software is that when it was first promoted it was said to help connect to difficult sites and to help you stay connected to sites with sensitive financial information.

I was one of the people who had difficulty getting on to Ms Mega, sometimes not getting connected for days and always getting the message “Internet Explorer cannot display this page”

I connected Trusteer Rapport to Ms Mega and have never had one problem connecting to Ms Mega since.  I can think of no reason why it should do this and realise that it will probably make some people on here laugh.

Thanks pinkcloud. My Sunbelt firewall will not let me install it. They are contacting Rapport Trusteer regarding this problem.  I disabled the firewall and anti-virus, but still could not install it.  Waitning for a response from Subelt support.
