This have suddenly started popping up
when I click on an address in a e-mail ie:-

Do you have Microsoft Outlook set as your default email client in Internet Options/ Programs tab?

Copy and paste the link directly into your browser and see if the link is correct, there may be some program blocking that particular link.

The trouble is only in Outlook. Using Incredimail things are OK.

You have edited your original post, can you confirm that you are using Microsoft Outlook and NOT Outlook Express?

I woke in the early hours of this morning with a thought as to the cause of my problem. I believe I loaded Dragon Naturally Speaking about the time my problem with Outlook started.

In my bumbling way I'll search for a solution on sites that I can find that give answers to problems caused by Dragon Naturally Speaking.

Once again thank you for your efforts on my behalf.
