Hi - you wonderful helpful people., I have been using Windows Live Mail but since moving house I have gone wireless with Optus and Windows Live Mail does not seem to be working properly.  So I have downloaded Incredimail but I am having trouble making it my default.   Should I uninstall Windows Live Mail?   Thanks in anticipation

Marg
Have you tried:
                        control panel
                                      set your default programs?

Q:  How do I configure IncrediMail as the default email client?

A: A 'Default email client' is a Windows Operating System term. The default email client is opened by Windows when it needs to activate an email client to send email.

Note: The email client you open first will receive your incoming email, regardless of your defined default email client.

To configure IncrediMail as the default email client, simply open IncrediMail, click the 'Tools' menu, select 'Options...' and click the 'Make Default' button.

If the 'Make Default' button is grayed out, yet IncrediMail still does not act as your default email client, please do the following:

   1. Right-click the IncrediMail Tray Icon (the orange envelope), located in the lower right-hand corner (near the computer clock) and select 'Exit'.

   2. Open Outlook Express, click the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'.

   3. At this point, the 'Options' dialog opens. Click the 'Make Default' button and close the 'Options...' dialog.

   4. Close Outlook Express and open IncrediMail. In the IncrediMail main window, click the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'.

   5. At this point, the 'Options' dialog opens. Click the 'Make Default' button
      and close the 'Options' dialog.

   6. IncrediMail is now configured as your Windows default email client.

You most probably just need to change your mailbox settings in WLM. Your ISP should be able to help you do that.

If all fails, try ''Thunderbird'' as your mail client.
