I am having a problem in logging on and logging off. My ISP is bigpond but I have a Billion Modem. Apparently my registratiion joining the two has gone amiss. I now need to re register my bigpond with Billion. Can someone please explain the procedure. I am ok at the moment {after much turning on and off] but I dare not switch off as may not get back into the internet. Hope I have explained this ok.

Did you install the software with the modem or are you just using the modems web interface?
Web Interface:
http://192.168.1.254/
You don't need to install the software for your modem to work properly

Just so you know, If you do lose you connection for any reason call Bigpond they can help you get reconnected.
Anyway open you web browser and in the address bar type: 192.168.1.254
In the Login window type you login info (if you didn't set this the the default is admin for the Username and Password, this should be set to some different later)
In the Web Interface click Quick Sart, Look for PPP and type your Bigpond email address and password the click apply.
This should get you connected but you'll need to click Save Config so it saves the settings.
*Remember if you can't connect call Bigpond they will help.
