Neon - My free trial of Norton is set to run out in 7 days.   Should I uninstall it before installing Microsoft Security Essentials and SpywareBlaster and Malwarebytes or download them first then uninstall Norton

Normally I would get people to download a new antivirus then disconnect from the net but with MSE it wants to do the "Genuine Windows Validation" check first to see if Windows is legit, Away download Microsoft Security Essentials and keep it handy then download the Norton Uninstaller tool in case you have difficulties uninstalling Norton.

Now you should be set to uninstall Norton and install MSE
