I only have access to dialup internet. When I try to update my anti-virus program weekly it takes 3-4 hrs to download. How can I overcome this? Windows notified me that my computor is now at risk as virus protection is out of date.

The only definition updates I can find for Trend PC Cillin 2007 are about 23MB which is very big that would explain why it takes a long time on dial up, you could take a take a look at some of the free Anti Virus solutions I have posted here:

I run PC - Cillin and find it OK. Used to run it on dialup internet and had no problems with updates. I will admit that it will often update two or three time aday.
