Got Lion from the APP Store and brought a nice 8GB USB Flash drive as the installer device. Need to install it on three Mac so hopefully shouldn't take to long.

Neon,

I know a man of your virtue would't do anything that is not legit. How many computers are you allowed to load from one purchase?

On the same theme, can you "copy" Lion from one comp to another?

Your allow to install it on as many Macs as you have associated with the App Store account, so you only need buy it once.

Once you have it on the USB drive you could in reality install it on any Mac

When you download it the first time from App Store it will try to launch, cancel that then follow the tutorial below

Neon,

I hope to buy a laptop in the very near future so I think I'll hang off installing Lion.

I have read on the Adobe forum that there seem to be a few problems with Lion and Photoshop.
If I wait for the laptop and install all my programs one at a time to see how they go, might be the way for me to go.
That way I can wait and run the two systems until things are sorted if in deed they need sorting.

I haven't noticed the any of the problems mentioned on the Adobe forum (this is Adobes fault not Lion, Adobe had plenty of time to test their software compatibility with Lion) but I sure some faults are there.

Waiting a while is a good idea as it will be preinstalled. Which laptop are you going for the Macbook Air or the Macbook Pro?

I hope to get a Macbook Air 13"
Small/big enough and light weight for travel
