Ran Over Dog
«

Last night my older sister while coming home from work, less than a minute from home ran over a dog (Border Collie) She was a complete mess, the owner was really concerned about her and was really apologetic for the dog getting out and running on to the road, but my sister who is as much as a dog lover only had thoughts for the dog and well-being.
A neighbour consoled my sister for a while offering tea and a seat but nothing could distract her from the needs of the dog. She gave the neighbour her phone number to give to the dog owner who had taken off to the Vet.
I know my sister and the way she feels about puppies/dogs and sure this will stay with her for a very long time.
Everyone loses in this one.

I can imagine how she feels Neon., I am a dog lover as well. But this is just one of those things and she should not dwell on it. Very sad, I hope the dog survived it.

She called me last night after the owner left a message on her answering machine, sadly the dog died due to the severity of the injuries, very sad day for everyone.

So sorry to hear that. They certainly are part of the family. Hopefully it didn't suffer too much.
