This might help,
Copy and paste objects for Publisher 2003

Copy one object
Right-click the object you want to copy, and then click Copy.
Right-click where you want to copy the object, and then click Paste.

Copy multiple objects
Hold down SHIFT and click the objects you want to copy.
Right-click the objects, and then click Copy.
Right-click where you want to copy the objects, and then click Paste.
Copy and paste objects

PS. I have been thinking do you mean you want to copy an Existing 4 Page Publication out of your Files, or are you asking how to set up a 4 Page Publication in Publisher, and then Print it out in Publisher??
If so click on "Blank Publications" in your Taskpane, select 4 Page Side Fold, or 4 Page Top Fold Card, 4 Page Selection (4 little Squares, 1.2.3.4.)will show on the Bottom of Page, click on each Page in turn to open, go Insert Picture or Text from File etc. when happy click on Print Preview to check correctness, then click Print.
It might be a little easier in 2007 which I have not installed yet.

Jutta - thanks, I did use the help file, and it just did not work for me.  The first page was in miniature and could not be enlarged - the other 3 pages were minus their boxes.

I need an easier way, if possible

Thanks

Try the following Judy,

click on "Blank Publication" in Task Pane on left hand side in Publisher
double click on "Side Fold Card" on right hand side
If a Prompt comes up, answer Yes

Go to File-Open
Find your Publication in your Files
highlight the 1. Page and Copy

click on the "Paste Icon" in Publisher
the copied Text should Paste inside a Text box in your first open Page of your Blank Publication.

adjust Text box by the 4 Nodes to fit the Page
when done, click on Number 2 down the bottom, and page 2 and 3 will open,

copy and paste as above into them from your 2. and 3. Page Publication in your Files
then do the same with Number 4 Page.

Check in Print Preview the Outcome for each Page and print if happy or Save As.
If you look in the Task Pane, you will also be able to change the Color Scheme etc.

PS. To insert a Picture, go "Insert" Picture from File etc.
Hope this helps some!

No can do Jutta

I get the new page up, I copy the text from page 1, and it over-rides the new page.

Sorry.

I must be a bit dense
but I fail to see the problem. Can't one simply copy the folder holding the 2007 booklet, open the copy and now edit away to one's heart's contend and save it as 2008 booklet?

One would think so - but it copies the first page in a reduced size, and won't let me extend it, and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th pages do not copy across the borders.  I guess I will have to make do.

If a copy of the file misbehaves
how about opening the original file and renaming and saving at as a new file. That new file can then become the start of booklet 2008.
I've played with a few of my old Publisher files and have none of the problems you describe.  ?  Have run out of ideas.
