I have Outlook express 6 and run XP Pro . I have mobile prepaid broadband and still have my dial up connection as back up for broadband. The dial up has my original email address which is thru the dial up provider iinet. But when I access the internet via mobile broadband (Crazy Johns) I can recieve email but it wont send. error message says rejected senders email address '530 authentication required'. What do I need to do to fix this. I could do with step by step instructions as I am not a tech. Thanks

I think the STMP may be blocked by your Mobile ISP (Crazy Johns uses Vodafone Mobile) you may need to call them and ask if they block port 25

You could also try changing the STMP yourself to smtp.vodafone.net.au but the phone call may be you best bet
