i have a lot of xmas songs in mp3 in a folder that i created but the numbers are all different wondering if there was a free program that would tidy them up with thanks colx

didnt make it clear i think what i mean is the prefixes go 007 0010 0038 ect can i get them to go 01 to what ever the last one is i hope i explained it bit better thanks

It's not entirely clear what you are trying to achieve.
From XP on, Windows numeric sort is intuitive - it recognises actual numeric values and ignores leading zeroes, so your files should sort OK.
Have a look at the test folder I set up. The only time leading zeroes come into play is when the numeric values are the same (0038 before 038 before 38, but 0010 after 7).
Do you just want the filenames to look nice and tidy?
