Nothing in folders
«

I recently had a massive virus in my computer I had to have the HDD formatted, the tech saved all my photos & files, I decided to have windows 7 installed from XP (I wish I could go back to XP) anyway I have folders that show nothing in them but if I open them up there are photo's / files there but are dulled & if I put them on a memory stick to transfer them to a laptop they don't show anything on the memory stick, Hoping some one can have fix for this, it's becoming very frustrating.
Hope I have explained this OK.

Right click on the photos and click properties and see what it says?
Should show the file type and size ....

On word files it says, Property's /Security it shows System /Admin/Laurie/Admin Administrators (Laurie) Administrators
Add Remove permission for system allow deny, the allow is greyed out with ticks in them.
Photo's JPG Files Size 76.7 Attributes HA. On photo's that are OK the Attributes is A, what's the difference?
Hope I have explained this OK

Thanks but it a little above my head to work this out, any other easier ideas, might have to get someone in to have a look.
