20.08.07

I hope you all do not mind, but I was able to resolve the certificate issue with some assistance with the IT guys at work and I thought that I would share it if there are others that may come across this issue.

All I had to do was go to windows updates and download the high priority updates and then "Software, Optional" list and tick "Root Certificates Update".

viola! I am now able to access what I need via remote access to my department and am now able to work from home as required. It was really easy.

Thanks to all who offered assistance....airyfairy

Hi all

I was wondering if you could assist here.  I am trying to remote into my work website and keep getting a message that says:...

"Cannot connect to the Citrix Presentation Server. SSL Error 61: You have chosen not to trust VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5 the issuer of the server's  security certificate"

Any chance that someone may have come across this before?  I am getting desperate...

Cheers.....airyfairy

Assuming you use Internet Explorer, if you click on Tools --> Internet Options --> Content --> Certificates and have a look around there, have you marked anything not to be trusted?

I have not marked anything as untrusted....I did remove some that were in the untrusted area to see if that would assist, but no change.  Still get the same error.

Not sure what to do now

Thanks for your reply Penny, but I am still in a pickle.

I have attached a screen shot of something that I found while looking at the certificate. Is there anything that I can do to alter that "windows does not have enough information to verfiy the certificate"?

Cheers (and I hope the attachment works!)....airyfairy

You may be able to get some support from the Citrix site...

Thanks Tassie. Smiley

I think I will have to see the I.T Dudes at the office and see how they can assist.  If they want me to be able to access work stuff after hours...I am sure that there is a way around this.

I am going to try an enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Cheers...airyfairy
