I am trying to make a poster for a For Sale Notice Board. I have the photo on the page, along with the text.
I want to put my phone number vertically, along the bottom, so they can be torn off. can any one help. Thanks.

Baby,
What program are you using? In MSWord 2000, the "drawing" toolbar has a "text box" facility with which you can draw a vertical text box. With the text box selected, click "format" on the menu bar and from, the drop down menu, select format "Text Direction". After typing in the phone number you can then copy the box, number and all, by selecting the box and holding the ctrl key while dragging it across the bottom of the page. You can also format the text box to eliminate the box outlines.
Later versions of Word may have an easier way of doing it. Hope this helps.

You could also browse through Ms. Templates,
download a suitable one, and just replace Pictures and Text by Highlighting and typing or inserting,
here is a sample

browse for others here

Mind you, it is great practice and fun to do it yourself, if you are confident, by following maccas instructions.
