hi folks i have a strange query that i hope someone can prevail me with knowledge on how to get rid of this
i have just returned from a few days away and left pc with grandkids (bad move)
now i am bac i turned on pc and in IE my home page is coming up with all this security stuff and i know it has to be a bug or something cause wen i type in my home page as google it wont allow me and it keeps coming up pop ups say all abt security and download this anti v etc
i will try and describe wats on page its says

i would just like to know how it got on my pc and how to get rid of it
the boys dont know how or wen it got onmy pc i suspect they have been perusing adult site ertc

sorry neonwizard the scan never solved prob  its still there
have ran search but it comes up empty yet security toolbar 7.1 is still there
it is even there wen i open my hotmail

i have found out that name of this virus is called
asecurityassurance.com
now for the biggy how do i remove it with out having to reformat my pc

I think is a Trojan "Zlob" to be on th safe side I think you'll have to post a Hijackthis log here

hi neonwizard i found out how to remove it i used system restore and then done full scan  with anvir
now all seems ok
kids  in solitary lol
