I have had this happen on the odd occasion, but it/s so long ago I've forgotten how to correct it  (promise I'll write it down this time)

OE says " OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail.  Shortcut to E-mail.Ink"

I am aware I cannot open an Ink file, anyway, and have written to the sender, a friend, and asked them to send the full document, not  a shortcut.

I just wanted to know how to open it if it was a legitimate attachment.

Remove the tick from "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

Go to SECURITY

and take the tick out of where you see my cursor.

Good luck, nell-again.

Hi jood,

If you dont want to change your Options another way is to just click the 'Forward' button as though you were going to forward the email on to someone and you see your attachment there and you will be able to open it.
