A friend downloaded recently Incredimail from a link in an email & it has taken over her home page & now she wishes to remove Incredimail.

If we delete the email completely then system restore to a date before the email came in do you think the registry will be free of Incredimail?

Shall be grateful for any help with this.

Eric

Thank you for the link.  Over the 'phone, my friend & I carried out the instructions up to & including delete Incredimail from Program Files, however my friend did not have enough confidence to carry on to the next step editing the registry so we then did a system restore to a date prior to installation of Incredimail.  After a couple of restarts all seems ok but only time will tell.  If Incredimail intrudes again I shall have to help her follow the instructions in full.

Thank you for your suggestion however my friend was anxious to uninstall Incredimail.
