Hi a few months ago before I signed up with bigpond broadband, I did and still do have a dial up account with another provider, which still has a fair bit of credit left and I am wondering if there is any way of accessing this other account at the same time as being connected to bigpond. windows xp 2. Hope I have explained this ok. Thanks.

Hi curly,

I think you should be able to. I have kept my Dial up account - both are with the one company though - Optus. Optus have Dial-up for Broadbanders. It is handy if you have a laptop and not at home.

If you dont turn on the Big Pond Broadband modem you should be able to then Dial-up the way you used to with the  other company - I presumer you have an internal modem or just plug in the external modem.

Good luck..

Just type in the www.address of your ISP for dialup (whilst using bigpond) then just go through the formalities of user name, password etc. and you will be able to access your dialup account.
