My mouse seems to have a mind of it's own, it just takes off all over my screen. It's an Acer, electronic. Can anyone give me some suggestions how to make it behave or do I just need a new one?

This can sometimes be caused by dirt under the mouse ball or laser, it can even be the area that the mouse is being used on IE: Mouse mat or desk.
