neon, i have just got a new imak desk top from my wife, it seems to be great. but can you please tell me this do i install the leopard disc that came with it because 10-5 all ready installed. bill

Leopard is 10.5 and with the update patch should now be 10.5.1 so that suggests to me that it is already installed.
To check click the "Apple" icon on the top left of screen, then select "About this Mac" scroll down until you see "Software" click it once and the you should see "Mac OS X 10.5.1 (9B18)" if you have updated your System

hi neon, it says mac os x version 10.4.11, but i checked for updates and it said all updates are up to date. so do you think i should in stall the disc.

If you just got it when use tiger 10.4.1 for a bit just to get the feel of Mac OSX of a few weeks then install leopard this way you'll notice the changes more in leopard.
If you have any more question just sing out.

hi, neon, when i try to down load ony x18b.dmg i get nothing like in your pic, just loads then nothing.

First open the application folder SHIFT + APPLE Key + A You have to double click the .dmg file so it mounts then drag the OxyX.pkg inside to the application folder. I made a little video tutorial at the link below, it will take a little time to load. http://screencast.com/t/5eOsaTMuhs
