Can someone recommend a really simple program to turn a collection of photos into a slideshow and I can copy it onto a disc please. I have down one a long time ago but I have forgotten how.

Hi Crowley,

You might like to tale a look at Photo Story 3 that is a free download from Microsoft - it is easy to use with tutorials. You can also add music if you like.

Another option is Picasa, free from google.

I have finished compiling my slideshow. I used photostory and it all looks great. I copied it to a cd and I can't get it to play on anything. It's in windows player format so this might have something to do with it. I actually need it at a club. They are going to play the photos on a big screen. They just have a dvd player

if you use nero as your burning software you can create and burn slideshows from inside the program that will work on dvd players

ok went to nero and selected make video cd and found my slideshow and copied that but no luck. Did I select the wrong thing?
I think the problem is photostory has put it in mediaplayer format that the dvd player doesn't recognise.

you need to select the "make photo CD" option.

I can't see that option. I have nero oem and I don't have make a photo cd. I have make data cd, make audio cd, make video cd and copy cd.

Is there any other programs? Can anyone help please? I am running out of time and starting to feel very stressed.

ohhh all that stress and worry. I decided to give it another go. I burnt again thru nero video cos it says it's for video and photos and took it to my neighbours and it worked on hers so it seems it is my dvd player not the disc. I will take it to the club and check that it works on their system. Thanks guys
