Cowley I think you are thinking about MEE .... I know I have had to reply to a lot of people "Gunning" for me in the past but I will say I think it is all in the progression of this forum and haven't had any problems to deal with in a very long time, touch wood. Well I am back and almost ready to go again in this new look forum. Cheers everyone, Jim.

nooo it wasn't jeffrey. I have sometimes wondered if it was neonwizard with a name change. He is not a regular member now. Maybe Penny might remember cos I remember her participating in the lessons.
SnipeR?

And there was also Mee, until he got on the wrong side of people, and rapidly went downhill from there...

Thanks Neon, the trip was very humbling and a real change to get out of your comfort zone.
I made some great friends over there and will be making my way back in about 6 months.
I haven't organised my photo's yet but have some incredible shots to show you all.
Cheers, Jim

That means that your ISP or router that you look at is having issues with complying with internet standards. There shouldn't be any need to edit your host files unless you have previously edited them... which I doubt there would ever have been a need to! Edit: Just checked your ISP from your IP address and that being said, I have heard that your ISP has alot of issues with DNS lately, so that doesn't really surprise me! Good to see you back on board!

I never had any problems accessing any site until a couple of weeks ago when I couldnt access Ms Mega until I edited the hosts file I re edited and all is OK Ah, well this is the issue here then, as obviously it will look locally first! Its probably an idea to remove it completly from your hosts file so that in future you dont have this issue again There has been ongoing issues with DNS and IINET since about September last year that I know of. Some clients I manage on there have actually moved providers as it was so bad, and many issues have been widely publicised on Whirlpool. Luck of the draw I think. Enjoy the new boards
