Has anyone any knowledge or experience with the Dragon Naturally Speaking program?

My wife was at the doctor's and in her presence and in a very short time the doctor dictated into his computer a very comprehensive and detailed referral to a specialist. We are amazed at the accuracy of the finished product.

I'm thinking of sending an urgent message to Santa before he leaves for his great ride in the sky but would love to have some input or your thoughts on the program.

Regards to All, nell-again.

Can Santa afford $399.95 for the professional or $199 for the Standard version?

Plenty of reading here...

Thank you Tassie
for your interest.

Can Santa afford $399.95 for the professional or $199 for the Standard version?

Academic versions are going for $93 the Standard and $282 the Preferred. As I have a TAFE student's card I qualify.
I have heaps of info through Google but they are all from the manufacturer. I was hoping to get some comments from actual users. Been combing the net for a forum site or such like but so far without success.

I am thinking my typing could speed up a lot but also it might help me with a problem I recently aired, which btw has much improved after following the various advices I received. Thank you All.

Thank you Tassie

Much appreciated! Don't know why I couldn't hunt that down myself. Obviously still have some learning to do using Google.

Regards, nell-again.

Thank you Tee

I quickly googled to read up on TextAloud before downloading something I know nothing about.
I am afraid this program READS text. I am rather interested in something that converts my reading or speaking INTO text.

Thank you for your thoughts.
Regards, nell-again.
