Hi all,
happy New Year to all.
Well, New Year - new problems: last few days I am getting a lot of full screen add's popping up. I have run SpyBot, Spyware Doctor, Ad Aware, NOD32, but could not stop it. Suddenly the ZA asks me to "allow or block WAKESERVICE.EXE to connect to the Internet". As I found that this application is a bad one and has to be removed ASAP. I found a Free-SpyHunter Scanner from http://www.spywareremove.com/removeWakeServiceexe.html.
1. How does one find out if the above site is not one of those rogue ones?
2. Why all of the above programs did not pick up the wakeservice.exe, although I made sure I updated before run a full scan?
Thanks,
Boris.

I have Windows XP sp2 Home, NOD 32, ZoneAlarm Free, Spyware blaster & Windows Defender(firewall disabled)

Hi Guys,
I think, I can close this one, because the pop-up problem has gone.
Thanks for your help,
Best regards,
Boris.
