try the following. I know nought about it but it looks OK, and it's free.

www.myheritage.com

I use Brothers Keeper but it costs $US15 or $US20 with user manual

I use Legacy which is also a free downlaod.  But you can pay to get extra usage like adding many more scans of documents or photos.  I think you get up to 5 free.
