I am running microsoft office professional on windows XP & am looking at updating my computer probably to vista.
I have old lotus files which I'm trying to convert to word so that I can remove lotus before the upgrade.
the files convert to something I can't read so I had to change them back to lotus as I really don't want to lose them.
Can you help me to do this as I really don't want lotus on my backup or installed on the new computer when I get it
Thanks in anticipation as you always seem to be able to help me.

I thought Lotus files were a proprietary format? but I did find this if it's relevant: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/WordProConverter.htm or you could try this:
