I am using Windows XP and Outlook express.
I have just had a problem with Outlook express-it would not open.
I thought it was a virus or some similar so I scanned the computer and found no viruses or Trojans.
Now I can open Outlook express but my folders have all gone-with saved emails.
Is there any chance of getting them back? Sad

Not quite sure what you mean by all gone
Is it a question of the appearance of OE
A screen shot would help

Did you reinstall Outlook Express?   That may have wiped your email folders and set eveything back to default

Just a thought!

Have you Ms.Office installed? If so, check in "Ms.Outlook", your saved Emails could have slipped in there if Outlook Express was not set as your Default at the time.
(This happens sometime after a Ms.Office Update, Ms.Outlook just takes over, if Outlook Express is not set as Default again)

Try a search for the folders by opening Search/ files and folders and type in  dbx  once found take note of the file path and the go to OE/File and import back to OE.
