AppleJack 1.5 for Leopard

1-4a Rename

Some time ago I enquired through this forum how I could bulk re-name files, i.e rename many files with a common attribute at the same time. I had a situation where I had several hundred .jpg photo files which I wanted to merge into a common folder but, being downloads from a camera card at different times, many of the filenames were duplicated with a name like IMG_00XX. This little utility solved the problem. I simply renamed a folder full of IMG_XXXX files as PIC_XXX and so, no conflict on merging.
It doesn't need to be installed, it's only 666kb size so it can be put onto a floppy. It has "basic" and "advanced" modes and, with my limited use of it today, it looks good.
If anyone out there needs to be able to re-name a folder full of files, for whatever reason, have a look at this little "freebie".
