ACCESS DATABASE
«
on:
June 30, 2008, 10:17:43 AM »
Good Morning,
As from last Thursday, I have been unable to open my Access Database. Normally when the database screen opens,
I click on tab that comes up. I then right click and up comes a tab showing "Open" which I click and database opens.
But now the initial tab says "All Tables" and I can't get past there.
How do I retrieve the database??
Hope you can help.

Hello All Users,
Is there anyone out there who is proficient with Access 2007? I am having urgent problem trying to open my database.
I am using XP Pro with Service Pack 2. Problem started last week out of the blue. HELP!!
Normally when the database screen opens, I click on tab that comes up. I then right click and up comes a tab showing
"Open" which I click and database opens.
But now the initial tab says "All Access Ojects" with "Tables" below it. Under "Tables" there is now a coloured space
saying "MSysCompactError" Table.............and I can't get past there.

I have no knowledge of working with Access, but there is a Service Pack available which apparently fixed some bugs.

There are also others that have had the same problem, perhaps a read of some of the forums may assist you..
