Computer protection
«

Sometime ago I logged in to get advice on why my computer was so slow. I received a number of suggestions, most of which I carried out, plus getting a computer tech guy in.With the amount spent I could have bought a new machine. One of the ideas was get rid of the Norton gear which I did, another was that because I live in a high rise reception could be a problem. However I now am sure the problem is the protection system itself. When I un-instal my Trend Micro PC-cillin,which has a firewall and anti virus in it, the computer runs well and quickly. How much of this protection stuff is really needed. I do banking and a bit of share trading on the net.
Thanks,
Noel Spencer

First don't run as Administrator make another user account and use it as your default account then you should have a Firewall router and/or software and some real good anti-virus Kaspersky Internet Security or Nod32 if you use Kaspersky Internet Security the firewall is included. Next install some other protection Comodo Boclean, Spywareblaster, Spybot, and AVG anti-spyware and Windows Defender.
*You may have to install these apps as Administrator*
